There’s no better way to express the Arnold area Boy Scout food drive for the Arnold Food Pantry than “Wow”! Over 24,500 items were collected by the Boy Scouts and delivered to the pantry. Carts of food were backed up for hours as volunteers unloaded the cars and then sorted through the many items, placing them in flats and boxes for safekeeping.

Executive Director Ed Fitzhenry offered his thanks and appreciation to the many volunteers who helped in the cause. “There were dozens of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and their leaders and parents, along with the Oak Bridge Men’s Ministry, students from Cor Jesu Academy, and dedicated volunteers and staff from the pantry, all who worked through the day. It was a tremendous effort by all.”
